Single piece butt plate with GWACS Armory name and logo. Fits CAV15 MKII AR Lower Receiver. Screws are included.
If you want to use this on a standard A2 fixed stock you can but you will have to get the OEM screws for that stock. The screws that come with this plate are for CAV15 use only.

I know this is for the CAV15 lower but I used it on an A1 with success. I wanted a lower with a fixed stock. A2s were too long. I picked up an A1 but it was still too long. This is just what I needed. I did have to modify my extension tube and the hidden interior surface of the butt plate in a small area. But it is well worth it. I love deep checkering as well. You hit it out of the park, GWACS!

Great idea, looks great but.
-1. Why a square bottom hole with a tapered screw for the buffer tube? (Provide a pan head screw or modify the butt plate for the tappered screw,
but by tapering the bottom of the hole you will loose thickness. Best option is to provide a pan head screw. The butt plate aligns itself to the plastic
stock on the inside of the butt plate so no worries there.
-2. Why a 14-20 screw for a 14-28 threaded buffer tube? (Provide the correct threaded screw)
-3. Why the smaller diameter screw for the bottom sling swivel that does not match the thread of the swivel? (Provide the correct threaded screw)
-4. Not able to use the rifle stock length adapter on the end of the buffer tube, too long. (Provide a correct spacer)
+1. Looks great!
+2. Feels great! No more cheese grater on your shoulder!
+3. 1/4 inch shorter than the standard cheese grater!
+4. No rattling trap door!
This butt plate is like buying a puppy and getting free cat food.

Had the butt plate filled with an aluminum rod and TIG welded to fill the normal screw indent (cost about 30 bucks). After that I used a drill press and dremel to hollow out enough of the plate to attached. One thing I didn't notice is that the bottom of the rifle length buffer tube also gets in the way, by maybe 1/16 or 1/32 so I sanded the metal between the standard lightening cut and the area I drilled out and it all fit. Can't wait to get it to the range to try out.

Just picked this up to attach to a C1 (A1 length) stock, trying to set up a shorter stock to put on an issue M16A2 when I go to the range. Looks good out of the package (about 1/4 thick, compared to the standard almost 1/2), but doesn't fit the C1 stock, about 1/4 inch of the buffer tube gets in the way. Going to try to see if I can fill the top screw indent and then drill out the back to make room. Another option would be to cut off the wrench end of the buffer tube but that's not an option on a rifle that's not mine. I'll update when I get it to work, should measure 9 3/4 when it works. Just beware if you're doing something weird it might not line up perfectly.
